Its spider mechanism allows the chainring to rotate backward, decoupling the rider from pedal feedback forces. This reduces chain turbulence and drivetrain noise, resulting in a quieter and more composed ride while helping riders stay focused on the trail.
By minimising pedal kickback, Ochain E enhances stability while braking and cornering, improving confidence on rough and technical terrain. The internally adjustable travel system allows riders to tune the degree of chainring rotation to suit riding style, terrain and bike setup. Mounted directly at the motor, the system delivers consistent behaviour without being affected by the gear ratio changes of wide-range cassettes. The latest generation also features improved impact resistance and enhanced sealing for greater durability and contamination protection.
